5/14/2008 - The Sioux Empire Chapter of the American Red Cross Business Disaster Program is an annual effort to assist your local Red Cross, so they may respond to disasters and assist individuals who are victims of disaster.

4/10/2008 - The Sioux Empire American Red Cross is holding its fifth annual Dining for Disaster on Thursday, April 17, 2008.  Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their revenue from meals customers purchase that day to the Sioux Empire American Red Cross for disaster relief. All money donated will stay locally and be used for relief activities within the Sioux Empire area.

2/2007 - The American Red Cross responded to a multi family fire on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Sam Hill, the Emergency Services Director at the Sioux Empire Chapter stated, “We are currently providing assistance for meals, lodging, clothing, and other immediate needs to 16 individuals.”
