CPR & First Aid Classes

*Enrollment is limited and all classes are held dependent on adequate enrollment. Payments must be received in advance and can be made in person, by mail, or online.

*When Registering online address and phone number are required with payment.

*Classes that are registered and paid for online are subject to a $5 fee if cancelled, by the student, after thirty days of payment. Classes cancelled by the Sioux Empire Red Cross will not be subject to any fees.
*CPR Certifications are valid for 1 year, First Aid Certifications are valid for 3 years. Cost of each class is listed below with dates and times.

Standard First Aid CPR/AED - Adult, Infant & Child CPR (HSSFA414)

This course is designed to give participants knowledge and skills in the areas of First Aid and Adult, Child, & Infant CPR. In addition, you learn the skills to use automatic external defibrillators (AED). *With full payment of this class you will receive your choice of a a CPR keychain or a First Aid keychain.

CPR/AED For the Professional Rescuer (32810)

This course includes instruction in Adult, Child, & Infant CPR, Basic Skills, 2-person CPR, and the bag-valve mask. In addition, you learn the skills to use automatic external defibrillators (AED). *With full payment of this class you will receive a Pocket Mask.

Standard First Aid (HSSFA101)

This course helps participants recognize and provide basic First Aid care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This course does NOT include information on breathing or cardiac emergencies. *With full payment of this class you will receive a First Aid keychain (2150)

In addition, you learn skills to use automatic external defibrillators (AED). *With full payment of this class you will receive a CPR keychain (3100G)

First Aid with Infant & Child CPR (HSSFA408)

Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 12 years of age. In addition, this course helps participants recognize and provide care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives.

*With full payment of this class you will receive choice of a CPR keychain (3100G) or First Aid Keychain.
