Babysitter's Training Enrollment is limited and all classes are held dependent on adequate enrollment. Payments must be received in advance and can be made in person, by mail, or online. When Registering online address and phone number are required with payment.
*Classes that are registered and paid for online are subject to a $5 fee if cancelled, by the student, after thirty days of payment. Classes cancelled by the Sioux Empire Red Cross will not be subject to any fees.
ALL BABYSITTING CLASSES: COST $30 per class ALL CLASSES ARE FROM 9 AM to 4 PM
All Students must be at least 11 years of age and there is no certification with the babysitter's training. Participants will be issued a card stating that they have completed the training.
PLEASE BRING A DOLL TO PRACTICE DIAPERING AND A SACK LUNCH
The purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course is to provide youth ages 11 to 15 with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism, basic care, safety and safe play and first aid.
